Restaurants & Bars

Fine cuisine can make your holiday experience that bit extra special and La Plantation d’Albion Club Med does not disappoint.

Its two restaurants, La Distillerie and Le Phare are of Table Gourmet standard, awarded to the Club Med’s finest restaurants, where quality of food and service are consistently the best.

Both restaurants provide a memorable gastronomic experience, combining the best of traditional Mauritius fare with creativity of both menu and presentation.

The resort also boasts two fabulous bars, L’Alouda and Le Banian, each providing a welcoming, relaxing refined and intimate atmosphere

La Distillerie, is located close to the swimming pool and welcomes you for all your meals. Choose from the open air terrace, the covered terrace or the first-floor dining area with its magnificent view over the sea and the lagoon alongside the Resort.

Le Phare, the local speciality restaurant is in a heavenly setting a few yards from the sea. Enjoy the subtle and exotic flavours of local cuisine, typically Asian, with the delicate flavours of vanilla and curry. Tables must be booked, at Reception.

Bars

L'Alouda bar is ideally situated and is a great place to relax, in an intimate setting. In the early evening, the lighting on the lagoon adds a delightful touch to the setting.

Le Banian is located alongside the swimming pool and the buffet restaurant, this bar welcomes you in a relaxed and refined atmosphere. Smoking is permitted on the terrace only.

Water, fruit juices, sodas, hot drinks, cocktails with and without alcohol, champagne. From 6 pm at the bar, local and/or international spirits, wines.

La Plantation d’Albion Club Med has 266 rooms arranged in a choice of Club Room, DeLuxe Room or Suite, each with its own terrace or balcony looking over the ocean or luxuriant gardens.

As would be expected of a prime Mauritius resort, all rooms are fully equipped for the modern traveller with air conditioning, en-suite bathroom, flat screen TV and the usual bits and pieces such as hair dryer, iron etc which help the holiday to just flow!

It is worth noting that Club Med brought in top design partners Marc Hertrich and Nicolas Adnet to manage the design of La Plantation’s rooms. Their objective was to develop contemporary environments which reflected the relaxed lifestyle and beauty of Mauritius and enhance the guest experience.
