LEGENDS, lies in the centre of the fishing village of Grand Gaube, not far from Grand Bay, in the north-eastern corner of Mauritius. The hotel's concept is based on the principles of Feng Shui, an ancient philosophy with its roots in China. Legends is where the five elements: water, wood, fire, earth and metal and their corresponding colours, are in harmonious balance, a feast of colour and shape, of sound, of scent and taste for the 5 senses, enabling guests to experience the art of living in harmony with the environment. Around a heavenly little cove, Legends, a luxury 4 star, was created with a vision towards a new dimension. Freshness, harmony with the environment and the soft blending of colours are the prime objectives. A golden beach hugs the bay and its reflections, the garden and its luxuriant vegetation. The calm lagoon stretches like a transparent mirror towards islets with enchanting names like Gunners' Quoin, Flat Island and the Sugar Loaf.

The hotel also features it’s own indoor cinema, FREE water sports include windsurfing, pedalo, kayak, minisail, snorkelling, glass bottom boat and water skiing.Power-boat tours, scuba diving (PADI), big game fishing and parascending, are available for a small fee. Gym, sauna, beach volley, table tennis, darts, floodlit tennis courts and mini-golf. Massage parlour, mountain bikes, pool tables and electronic games are available for a small fee.The Legends Hotel has its own state of the art Spa and fitness centre where Tai Chi courses are held. Access to the sauna, steam room, jacuzzis, spa pool, fitness centre and relaxation area is complimentary to all hotel guests.Based on a combination of Thalasso and Spa, The Source is the core of well-being and serenity. Restaurants & Bars

Legends Hotel has 5 restaurants offering variety of dining options. There are 4 restaurants within the hotel. Gingko Restaurant offers buffet breakfasts. in the evenings, themed buffets, and gala dinners. For a slightly more casual fare, the beach bar and grill, La Bastide the beach bar and grill offers a more casual approach serving Mediterranean cuisine. Karma House an impressive split-level restaurant has an open kitchen, a walk-in wine cellar and an outdoor terrace. Seafood dishes are served in the seafood restaurant Abalone .The recently opened Banyan Tree restaurant located next to the deluxe rooms offers a barbeque bar / grill. The hotel also operates an in-room 24-hour dining service.

All 198 rooms are designed around the elements of Feng Shui. 126 Superior Rooms with the main element of metal enhanced with earth and water. 46 Deluxe Rooms , with the main element of water enhanced with wood and metal. 23 Junior Suites have a wood theme with water and fire elements.2 Senior Suites have a earth theme with fire and water elements. The Presidential Villa combines all five of the Feng Shui elements. All rooms feature: air-conditioning, bathroom with bath and separate shower, hair dryer, shave socket, IDD telephone, TV, Internet access, mini-bar, personal safe, and tea and coffee making facilities. Suites are fitted with private Jacuzzi's.
