The Sofitel Imperial hotel is located on the unspoilt beach at Wolmar Beach, on the west coast, at Flic en Flac, a white sand beach, with a lagoon with translucent waters. It is 30 minutes from Port Louis.. The Sofitel Imperial hotel welcomes you, with its zen architecture opening onto the sea and nature amongst a vast tropical garden. It’s restaurant features buffets, international cuisine and. Creole and Chinese specialities as well as two teppanyaki tables. There is a conference room for up to 350 guests. Swimming pool, fitness centre, water sports, tennis courts, 1000 sqm spa centre. Two bars including one on the beach. The hotel also offers nightly live entertainment and evening shuttle to nearby casino.

Facilities

The Hotel offers guests a fitness centre with sauna facilities and a new Thalassa Beauty Spa. Free sports facilities include floodlit tennis courts, 9-hole pitch and putt golf course, windsurfing, pedalos, kayaks, water-skiing, snorkelling, archery and table tennis. Other sports at a charge are scuba diving, deep sea fishing, cruises, glass bottom trips with diving and picnic, excursions.
Kids Club for children 4-12 years old from 10am to 9pm, babysitting services are available at a fee.

The main open-air pavilion houses four restaurants serving Creole, Mauritian, International, Indian, Chinese and Japanese cuisines, as well as buffets and seafood grills (reservation advised) and a Piano Bar overlooking the pool."The Ravinala": The main restaurant at Pool level serving breakfast buffets and dinner. The venue for various theme evenings and a la carte meals. Specialities: Indian and International cuisine.
The Ming Court: An elegant restaurant overlooking the tropical gardens and the lagoon. Serving Cantonese specialities and Japanese Tepanyaki tables. The Carcassaille: Beachfront restaurant open for lunch serving light salads, fish and grilled meats. Creole specialities are served at dinner. The Kestrel: Piano bar and lounge overlooking the swimming pool and serving cocktails in a refined atmosphereThe Tamassa: Beachfront snack bar situated between the sea and the pool.

Accommodation

The 136 Superior and Deluxe bedrooms, and 42 Deluxe Suites and the Presidential Suite have recently been fully renovated in a contemporary, Asian-inspired style, with noble and natural materials, to offer comfort, wellbeing, elegance and calmness. The Superior & Deluxe are located in two storey buildings and have air-conditioning, telephone, bath, shower, hairdryer, mini-bar, TV with in-house video, safe, patio and seaview. Superior rooms are situated on the ground floor, Deluxe rooms are on the first floor and have a balcony.
